I have used Sensitve laundry tablets for MIB’s laundry since he was a few months old and the eczema was becoming apparent. However, more and more recently we have found that using them in a wash with our clothes has resulted in white marks that look at bit like tie dye. I assume this is where perhaps a tablet has got stuck in a fold of clothing, which perhaps doesn’t happen in MIB’s wash as his clothes are smaller.
So far, I have been unable to get rid of these marks, however many hot washes I’ve tried. So far this summer, both husband and I have lost two t-shirts to this fate and I have also lost a vest – although I can still wear that in winter under a jumper.
On top of that, we finally had enough sunshine for me to find, iron and wear a trusted summer skirt. I have had it now for over 5 years and it has always done me just fine. It is hard wearing and goes with most things. However, even it hasn’t survived supervising a bathtime with MIB and Oilatum. Usually I am in a strict uniform of jeans so I guess any splashes go fairly unnoticed. Unfortunately my hardy skirt, with lack of print to cover it up has come out of it badly 🙁 It has several spots of what looks like grease on the front. Fingers crossed that another wash or two may help to clear it up.
