Have you heard how cross I am with Robinsons?
Well, actually, I guess I’m not cross with them at all. I’m cross with pharmaceutical companies.
Why is it that a drinks company can develop a fancy, simple way to add squash to a bottle of water so we can all drink more sugar, but I’m yet to find a pharmaceutical company who’s worked out how to put anti-histamine syrup in a handy sachet.
I mean, for me, it doesn’t seem that hard. A quick jaunt around Boots and you can find almost any sort of syrupy substance product in a sachet, ‘capsule’ or ‘pearl’.
However, parents of allergy kids still have to find a way to carry a medicine like Piriton in all its sticky-glass-bottleness with them all day every day.

Completely agree! It also might make it easier to persuade my teenager to actually carry some with her!

Ooh, yes, that’s a good point! Adults too – I have a grown up brother that struggles to carry allergy medicine! It makes so much sense.

Gosh that’s a good point. If we didn’t have that bulky bottle in our allergy kit, I could use a normal insulated bottle bag to carry my toddler’s Epipen, action plan and handy sachets… With the heat, I am considering making my own insulated pouch for her… Just because of that big Piriton bottle!
